Nicholas Mather | Executive Chairman
Mr. Mather is Founder, CEO and Managing Director of DGR Global and has been involved in the junior resource sector at all levels for 40+ years. During this time
Nick has been instrumental in the delivery of major resource projects that have
provided $5.7 Billion cash in shareholder returns. He brings a wealth of valuable experience to the Board, with his special area of expertise being the generation of undervalued resource exploration opportunities.
Nick was Co-Founder of Arrow Energy NL serving as Executive Director until resigning in 2004. Arrow was subsequently acquired for $3.5 Billion by Shell and PetroChina in 2010. He was also Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director of Bow Energy Ltd until its 2012 $550M takeover by Arrow Energy. Additionally Nick was Founder and Chair of Waratah Coal Inc until it’s 2009 $130M acquisition by Minerology Pty Ltd. He was also Managing Director and CEO of BeMax Resources NL and headed the company’s 1998 discovery of its Murray Basin mineral sands project, which was then sold to Cristal in 2003 for $350M. He was a re-financer and Non-Executive Director of Ballarat Goldfields prior to its sale to Lithia for $500M. In addition, Nick was Managing Director of Auralia Resources NL, until its 1995 $23M merger with Ross Mining NL and project generator and vendor of Northern Energy which sold to New Hope in 2011 for $250M.
Nick is Founder of SolGold Plc, and was CEO during the Cascabel discovery which hosts some of the world's largest porphyry copper-gold deposits, and he currently serves
as a Non-Executive Director. Nick is also Executive Chair for Armour Energy Ltd and Executive Director for NewPeak Metals, Clara Resources Australia and First Tin Plc.
Brian Moller | Non - Executive Director
Mr Moller is a corporate partner in the Brisbane based law firm. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1981 and has been a partner since 1983. Brian practices almost exclusively
in the corporate area with an emphasis on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions.
He holds an LLB Hons from the University of Queensland and is a member of the Australian Mining and Petroleum Law Association. Brian acts for many public listed resource and industrial companies and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the board particularly in the corporate regulatory and governance areas.
Brian was formerly Chair of LSE and TSX listed SolGold plc and is the current Chair of ASX listed Clara Resources, Platina Resources Ltd and Tempest Minerals Ltd and Non-Executive Chair of ASX listed NewPeak Metals Ltd and Mineral Commodities Ltd, and a Non-Executive Director of ASX listed DGR Global Ltd and Tolu Minerals Ltd.
Geoff Walker | CFO & Company Secretary
Geoff is a charted accountant and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He has 30+ years of commercial experience including as Chief Financial Officer of ASX listed Eagers Automotive Limited (APE). Range International Limited (RAN) and Kina Petroleum Limited (KPE).
Geoff brings extensive experience formulating and executing strategic initiatives while managing change and growth.

Pru Fogarty | Executive Business Development
Pru has worked in resources since 2010 with experience in IPO’s, Capital Raisings and Takeovers on the Australian, the London and the Toronto Stock Exchange with Projects spanning Australia, South America and Africa. In a range of commodities including, Coal, Copper, Gold, Lithium, Oil and Gas.
Since starting with DGR Global in 2015, Pru has worked on SolGold in raising tens of millions of dollars contributing to its success and USD$1Billion Market Capitalisation.
Since returning from Maternity leave in mid June 2022, Pru is dedicated to the success of Conjugate Energy.
John Mackintosh | Chief Operating Officer
John has 25 years of reservoir engineering, production technology and operations experience in multiple basins worldwide with a variety of International Operators and Consulting firm. He has an extensive background in exploration, greenfield field developments, Reservoir exploitation and brownfields reinvigoration.
John has previously held roles in Santos (Australia/Houston), Halliburton Consulting (Russia), Wintershall (Norway), Apache (Egypt) and Armour Energy (Australia).
John is a versatile Petroleum Engineer who enjoys building teams, encourages lateral thinking and innovation and is commercially focused with a keen sense of business development.
Lucas Mclean-Hodgson | Chief Technical Officer
Lucas has consulted to multiple small and mid-cap companies exploring in over 20 basins throughout Australia, Southeast Asia and the Caspian.
Lucas was heavily involved in Armour Energy’s exploration, appraisal and development of the Surat and Bowen Basin, the Otway Basin and the Albertine Graben.
Lucas has demonstrated outstanding subsurface understanding significantly contributing to the discovery of new hydrocarbon plays and developing exploration prospects and discoveries in multiple basins. His primary geoscientific focus is rift basins and conjugate continental margins.
With considerable worldwide experience Lucas is also focused on new ventures and portfolio growth
Dr Tom Buringuriza DBA | Country Manager
Tom has 30+ years’ experience working with multi-nationals, donor organisations and consulting to Government. He is highly qualified, results oriented and skilled in psychometric analysis, finance, operations and project management. Previously Tom was a National Consultant for GIZ SOGA Project, responsible for developing PPP concepts to develop skills that enable Ugandans to be employed in the Oil & Gas value chain. He was VP Africa for PARABEL Ltd, Strategy and HR Manager at MAERSK Ltd and former Deputy Executive Director of the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) deputising for the Executive Director at all functions and also did international investment promotion for Uganda in the UK, France, Italy, China and Republic of Ireland. Tom was responsible for introducing results-oriented approaches at the UIA. He was approved by the Central Bank of Uganda and Citi Group NY to be appointed to the Board of Citibank in Uganda and Chairs the Board Risk Committee. He is also a member of the League of East African Directors, a member of the Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda and member of the Adjunct Faculty at Strathmore University Business School.
Christian Schutze | Drilling Manager
Christian has 20 years of managerial and technical experience with a hands-on approach and a constant career progression at leading global oil & gas companies. Christian has held senior engineering and management roles with Addax Petroleum/Sinopec (Switzerland), BP (Egypt), RWE DEA (Egypt) and SLB (with various assignments in Africa, Europe and South America) He is highly analytical with a track record of developing cohesive strategies to address complex situations and deliver results against set objectives. Christian has a comprehensive drilling and workover experience in shallow water, deep-water and land operations and is fully conversant with HPHT, MPD and ERD techniques applied especially on exploration projects. Christian holds a MSc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Leoben, Austria.
Peter Bubendorfer | Geological Advisor
Peter Bubendorfer graduated from Auckland University in 1982 and has over 37 years experience as a geologist and explorationist.
He has extensive experience in the exploration and management of Coal Seam Gas and conventional oil and gas projects throughout Australia.
Peter was involved with Arrow Energy Limited from its inception, holding the position of Chief Geologist during Arrow Energy’s expansion phase and lead the acquisition, exploration and development of Arrow’s assets which ultimately led to the successful takeover by Shell and Petro-China for $3.5 Billion.
