NEW STAGE OF EXPLORATION
1,501 MMBBL Original Oil in Place High Case (P10 Gaffney Cline)
In 2022, the Ugandan Government awarded the Turaco Project Licence area
to DGR Energy Turaco Uganda SMC Ltd now a wholly owned subsidiary of
Conjugate Energy which sets the stage for a new phase of exploration.
With access to extensive 3D seismic coverage over 290sq km Conjugate Energy has successfully identified 2 prospects and 3 leads containing an estimated 1,501bbl OOIP.
Through comprehensive efforts, including reprocessing of the 3D seismic
data, geochemical analysis, seismic amplitude anomaly and frequency
analysis (expected decomposition) as well as a thorough Miocene outcrop
study, management has gained valuable insight into the prospectivity of
the project.
Seismic anomalies uncovered by these spectral decomposition analysis suggest the
presence of numerous oil-filled structures and the potential for extensive stratigraphic reservoir traps.
4-YEAR EXPLORATION PERIOD
Conjugate’s objectives extend beyond its immediate scope as it plans for an additional well to be drilled following the current planned program. The license terms encompass a 4-year exploration period from June 2023 -2027, followed by a 2-year appraisal phase from
June 2027-2029. A robust 25-year development program is set from 2029 - 2054.
The comprehensive work program includes a spectrum of activities such as a 3D reprocessing spanning 390km², soil geochemical analysis, additional amplitude and frequency studies and seismic attribute analysis. The seismic anomalies detected here also suggest the presence of numerous structures potentially filled with oil and underscore the potential for extensive stratigraphic reservoir traps. Looking ahead,
the 2024-2025 drilling program is poised to advance the Turaco Project further.
PROSPECT - OBERLANDER
524mmbbl OOIP (P10 Gaffney Cline)
This Direct Hydrocarbon Indicator displays a classic alluvial fan and deltaic depositional reservoir system.
LEAD - WHITE PELICAN
The White Pelican lead contains a Direct Hydrocarbon Indicator sitting below a sealing shale conforming to structure.
Further studies to delineate this Lead are part of the work programme.

LEAD - HORNBILL
Upthrown Miocene Structure is mapped with Turaco 3D seismic data (390km2) and indicates a low frequency anomaly (indictive of oil) in both the stike-line and cross-line in the Miocene section. The anomaly conforms to the fault bounded structure with the seismic appearing to show a classic hydrocarbon chimney above the prospect.
